School, UG and PG qualifiers may or may not contain a pre-qualifier pen and paper round depending on the number of teams. If teams in each category are greater than 8 then there will be a pre-qualifier round in the morning and a qualifier round in the noon.
Pre-qualifier questions would contain ‘Star questions’, these questions will have greater weightage in case of ties.
8 teams would be selected from the pre-qualifiers to go to the qualifiers.
The top 2 teams from the qualifiers (stage round) will be selected to the semi-finals from each city.
